DIRECTIONS

  • Please remove the hygiene seal and wash your Gotyu underwear at 30°C before first use.
  • You can your Period underwear Wear for up to 12 hours at a time.
  • We recommend that you try on your Gotyu underwear at home for the first time.
  • Even in the case of heavy bleeding, you can still use your Gotyu Period underwear It can be worn as a replacement for tampons or the menstrual cup - but it is also excellent as extra protection!

CARE

  • Rinse the Period underwear Rinse by hand with cold water after each use until the water runs clear.
  • Afterwards, you can wash them in the washing machine with your other clothes at 30-40°C. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
  • Hang your Gotyu underwear up to dry. Make sure not to dry it on a radiator and that the environment is not too humid.
  • Attention: Your Gotyu Period underwear It cannot withstand heat, so you should not iron it, put it in the dryer or wash it above 40°C.

HOW DO PERIOD UNDERWEAR WORK?

At Period underwear This is leak-proof underwear that you can wear during your period.

Period panties feel like normal underwear, but can be used both as extra protection for tampons or the menstrual cup, and as a complete replacement for disposable menstrual products.

Period panties consist of 2 to 4 thin layers that absorb the fluid.

The garment remains dry to the touch and no unpleasant odors develop, as the blood is trapped between the individual layers.

Can I go in the water wearing period beachwear?

Light period: Yes. When you're in the water, the blood can't leave your body because of the water pressure. When you get out of the water, the blood will naturally flow out and into your swimsuit (replacing the water in the absorbent part). Blood contains iron and is therefore heavier than water, which is why it settles at the bottom of period swimwear.

If you have a medium to heavy period, Period beachwear is best suited to be used as extra protection in addition to tampons or menstrual cups. In that case, we advise against wearing period beachwear alone while swimming.

Will I leave a trail of blood in the water?

No. When you're in the water, the blood can't leave your body because of the water pressure.

Only swim in period beachwear if you have a light period. For medium to heavy periods, wear period beachwear as a backup to a tampon or menstrual cup, or on its own as beachwear (not as swimwear).

I have a heavy period, can I go swimming with period beachwear?

If you have a medium to heavy period, Period beachwear is best suited to be used as extra protection in addition to tampons or menstrual cups. In that case, we advise against wearing period beachwear alone while swimming.

Are period beachwear hygienic?

Yes, the blood is securely contained within the fabric. However, for medium to heavy periods, we recommend using the underwear as beachwear rather than swimwear. Most brands that offer period beachwear claim it's suitable for swimming, but this isn't entirely true. If you have a light period, swimming is perfectly fine. But if you have a medium to heavy period, you should wear it as beachwear or as extra protection with a tampon or menstrual cup.

Do I have to wear pads or tampons in addition to my Gotyu period beachwear?

That depends on the heaviness of your period (light, "normal," or heavy). See the first question above. 🤗

Does period beachwear smell unpleasant?

No. The blood is trapped and the growth of bacteria is prevented, so you feel fresh at all times.

If you start to feel wet, it's time to check your... Period underwear to change.

Don't forget that for hygiene reasons, underwear should not be worn for more than 10-12 hours (even if your Period underwear (is not "full").

What happens if the product doesn't fit me?

You have up to 30 days to return your Gotyu underwear to our returns center in Germany at your own expense. You can only return undamaged and unworn items.

    Größe M passt eher einer 36, man soll das beachten. Ansonsten alles top!
